Bonkowski & Associates, Inc. geologists and engineers have ample experience with the design and implementation of remedial investigations and feasibility studies for CERCLA, RCRA, storage tan, landfill, active and abandoned mine, and surface impoundment facilities. To define the type of contaminant present, and quantities that exceed regulatory thresholds for uncontrolled and controlled hazardous waste Sites, our team utilizes various site investigation techniques, including: the collection and testing of soil, vapor, surface water and groundwater samples for chemical testing, geophysical characterization techniques such as shallow seismic and terrain conductivity surveys, borehole geophysics, hydrogeologic testing, and geologic characterization, containment system integrity testing, and hazardous materials inventory auditing.

Based upon the extent of the remedial investigation (RI), our staff will complete a feasibility study (FS) which identifies proven and reliable remedial technologies applicable to the Site conditions and Client constraints. Once these are identified, we will combine or isolate technologies to ensure that the most cost effective remedial action is chosen for the problem site.
