Ms. Dittmar is a Project Manager with Bonkowski & Associates, Inc. She joined the firm in 1994 after practicing at Earth Systems Consultants. Ms. Dittmar has over nineteen years professional experience, primarily dealing with the evaluation and remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater. Ms. Dittmar specializes in soil and groundwater investigation and remediation, groundwater contamination, risk assessment, dewatering and soil vapor remedial system design, Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, remediation effectiveness evaluations, monitoring well network design, dewatering well network design, and environmental permitting. She has installed and tested water wells, conducted hydropunch and CPT field surveys, and installed multicased and shallow and deep aquifer wells. Ms. Dittmar has also worked on foundation designs for commercial and residential structures, retaining walls and earth supporting structures, and evaluated landfill integrity and containment dikes. She has conducted computer based stability studies of landslides; interpreted lab data to develop soil bearing and lateral pressures for retaining walls, and calculated expected settlements of foundation elements. Her clients have included the United States Department of Agriculture, Diamond Shamrock, Ultramar, US AIG, Contra Costa County Sanitary District, real estate developers, independent oil companies, dry cleaning establishments, and law firms.
